Empty folders don't get displayed

Win 10, latest rclone and rcloneview ver. I tested on multiple S3 compatible crypt remotes.

Folders (and all their subfolders) don’t get shown in the file browser of RcloneView at all if they are empty. The moment I add a text file to the folder, it shows up. Once I delete the text file, the folder is completely gone, not displayed at all.

Related: the “Add Folder” functionality is completely broken as well, even though I get “New Folder request completed successfully” in log, it doesn’t actually create any folders. I checked on my cloud provider’s web interface and by locally mounting the remote as well after creating the folder via RcloneView, and the folder never gets created.

If I create the folder via rclone mount, it gets created, so the issue is rcloneview.

You need to set an option to show directory markers. Please set following option in the Rclone global flags field in Settings.

--s3-directory-markers

When I copy a folder containing 1 file neither folder nor file inside the folder show up in the RcloneView view of B2.
Right click and Reload does not help.
The option, --s3-directory-markers is set, but does not help.
This newbie would appreciate some help. I don’t want to try using Rclone as an alternative.
Thank you

Well, I see a solution. Left clicking the moving circle icon (reload) at the top right of the B2 window cause the missing folder and file to show up.
But the other “reload” by right clicking the b2 files window does not work
