Favorites Toolbar Customization โ€“ Personalize Your Home Menu

:page_facing_up: Description

The Home tab is the primary workspace in RcloneView and currently includes:

:repeat_button: Sync | :counterclockwise_arrows_button: Compare | :clipboard: Job Manager | :window: New Window

However, some users prefer quicker access to tools like:

  • :plus: New Remote

  • :globe_with_meridians: Mount Manager

  • :gear: General Settings

This feature will introduce a simple favorites system that lets users:

  • :star: Add any button from other tabs (Remote, Settings, Help) to the Home Toolbar

  • :cross_mark: Remove default buttons they donโ€™t use

  • :floppy_disk: Save a custom Home layout to match personal workflows

No drag-and-drop or full layout editor โ€” just click โ€œAdd to Homeโ€ or โ€œRemove from Homeโ€ per tool.

:hammer_and_wrench: Usage Scenarios

Example 1: Remote Power User

Alice frequently mounts remotes and manages cloud connections.

She customizes her Home tab to show:

:plus: New Remote | :cloud: Mount Manager | :clipboard: Job Manager

Example 2: Settings-Focused Admin

Bob maintains sync policy settings across multiple users.

His Home tab looks like:

:gear: General Settings | :card_index_dividers: View Count | :clipboard: Job Manager

This keeps high-usage actions just one click away, from the first screen.
