Help please, connecting to Dropbox root folder

RcloneView looks great.
I have a Business Plus Dropbox account. I tried creating a remote connection in RcloneView but could only connect to my own personal folder. I want to connect to the root folder so I can see all team folders within our Dropbox account. I have admin access for the Dropbox account.
I found the following link with relevant information, but I don’t know what to do in RcloneView.
I would greatly appreciate help to know how to setup a remote link to the root folder in my Dropbox account.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you for your feedback on RcloneView! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Regarding your issue with connecting to the root folder in your Dropbox Business Plus account, I understand the need to access all team folders rather than just your personal folder. The link you provided seems relevant, and we’ll review it to see how it applies to RcloneView’s configuration.

I’ll check this soon and get back to you with more details. In the meantime, if you have any additional insights or configurations you’ve tried, feel free to share them.

Thanks for your patience!

Hi, we are working on the fix, and a beta version will be available next week. Thank you for your feedback!

Hi @HaniMassoud,

This version of RcloneView now supports Dropbox Business, allowing you to connect to the root folder and access all team folders within your account. This fix will be included in following public releases.

When adding or editing your Dropbox remote please set dropbox_business to true.

If you encounter any issues accessing Dropbox Business, please let us know.

Thanks for using RcloneView.

Hi,
I’ve downloaded and installed the RcloneView 0.3.192 for Windows. I removed and recreated the remote connection to Dropbox. I selected true for dropbox_business, but I am still only able to see my own folder, and not the root folder.
Please note that I have left the client_id and client_secret blank. Are those needed, or can I leave them blank?
Also, our Dropbox license is Dropbox Business Plus. Does that have any impact on the setup?
Thanks for your kind support.
Hani

Hi,

Please create client_id and client_secret and fill in the input field. We tested with our own client_id and client_secret.

I’m sorry, but I do not know how to create the client_id and client_secret in Dropbox. I have found instructions on creating an app key and app secret but those are for app developers. I tried to create an app and got the keys, but they didn’t work because I needed a redirect URI which I’m not sure what that would be in this case. Where did you create the Dropbox client_id and client_secret? Are they the same as the app key and app secret? Thank you for your kind support and sorry if I’m missing something I should know. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Please use http://localhost:53682/ as the redirect URI.

And use app key as client_id and secret and client_secret.

This is our settings.
