How long does it take for RcloneView to accept the Plus license

I just installed RcloneView and purchased the plus license. After putting it in the program I expected to not see the “FREE License” and “PLUS Trail Mode” any more in the Help→About dialog, but I still do.

And YES, I did receive an email saying ”Your subscription to ‘RcloneView Plus Yearly’ was successfully activated.”

OS: Linux Mint 22.3 x86 64-bit
RCloneView version 1.3.551

Hi jy549883, thank you for the detailed report (and the follow-up).

What you saw was not expected for an active Plus subscription.
In some cases on 1.3.551 (including Linux), the local license validation state could fall back to trial/free, which made About show “FREE License” and “PLUS Trial Mode.” That’s why re-entering sometimes worked and felt finicky.

We’ve fixed this in the attached build.

Please do this once after updating:

  1. Install the attached version.
  2. Open Help → Register License and enter your license key again.
  3. Restart RcloneView.

After that, About should stay on Plus status (e.g. PLUS License / PLUS Mode Active).

If it still reverts, please share:

  • A screenshot of the About dialog
  • Approximate time it changed back
