How to connect to encrypted rclone remote

Hello,

thanks for that great app. I am testing it out right now. How can I connect to my rclone encrypted folder? Did I perhaps overlook the option?

Hello Sweep,
Thank you for using RcloneView!

Regarding your question about connecting to an encrypted remote, please consider the following:

  1. Have You Already Configured the Encrypted Remote in Rclone?
  • If you have already configured the encrypted remote using Rclone, it should be saved in the Rclone settings file (rclone.conf).
  • RcloneView automatically loads this configuration and displays the remotes in the Remote List.
  • To confirm if your encrypted remote is listed in the configuration, run the Rclone command rclone config.
  1. If the Encrypted Remote Does Not Appear in RcloneView
  • Ensure that the correct rclone.conf file is being used by RcloneView.
  • You can specify the path to the rclone.conf file in the RcloneView settings menu if necessary.
  1. Additional Information Request
If the issue persists, please provide the following details:
  • Whether the encrypted remote is configured in the Rclone settings file.
  • If the remote does not appear in RcloneView, a screenshot of the issue.
This information will help us better understand the problem and provide a more precise solution.

Feel free to reach out anytime if you have further questions or need additional assistance.

Sure! Here’s a rephrased version:

Hi there,

Thanks for the help! I was a bit confused earlier because my rclone setup is on a server, and I wanted to access the remote from my MacBook. To do that, I set up the remotes again on my MacBook. However, I just copied the rclone.conf file from my server to my MacBook, and now I can see my encrypted remote.

Thanks again!
