Hi, and sorry for the late reply — and thank you for the detailed report.
From what you described (the process visible in Task Manager but no UI or taskbar window), this issue can occur on Windows 11 with Flutter-based apps. A few things are worth checking:
0. First, check if the app is minimized to the system tray
RcloneView can minimize itself to the tray depending on the previous session state.
Please look for the RcloneView icon near the clock (you may need to click the “Show hidden icons” arrow ▲).
If it’s there, right-click and choose Restore.
Now for the others:
1. The window may be opening off-screen
This can happen after monitor changes or Windows layout resets.
- Press Alt + Tab to see if the window exists but is invisible.
- Press Win + Arrow keys to snap the window back into view.
- If using multiple monitors, try temporarily disconnecting a secondary monitor and relaunching.
2. Restore the window manually
Even without seeing it:
- Press Alt + Space
- Press M (Move)
- Use arrow keys to bring it back onto the screen. This works even when the window is completely off the desktop.
3. Make sure no stale processes exist
End all RcloneView.exe processes in Task Manager, then restart.
If the issue still happens
Please let us know your:
- Windows 11 build
- GPU model
- Monitor count / recent layout changes
This will help us determine whether it’s a Flutter-Windows rendering issue or something else.
Thanks again for reporting this — and for your patience.
